2015 is an amaizing vintage, lots of sunshine and very ripe fruit. The soil in this vineyard is mostly schist with some quartz, and the average vine age is 30 years. Fruit is 100% destemmed and fermentation happens in stainless steel open fermenters. the grapes are pressed when dry, then aged in barrique for 18 months before bottling. No filtration, no fining. This wine is dark and spicy with a very mineral back bone.
